Oral Examination
Initial Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which have the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth, and the bite-wing x-ray series for accurate diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
Comprehensive Examination
The comprehensive examination is a process in which Dr. Hamilton takes necessary records to provide a thorough diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan. This examination will include Oral Cancer Screening, Periodontal Examination, Occlusal Examination, Caries (cavities) Examination, and Tempro-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) Examination.
